The iconic old Town of Chania and all its attractions are only minutes away on foot, ready to be explored. The archaeological museum, the navy museum, the folklore museum and the Byzantine museum as well as the post-Byzantine exhibition are all in a very close range. The Venetian harbor with its imposing lighthouse, the Jewish synagogue, the KAM (Mediterranean Architecture Centre), the Yali Tzamisi and The Trimartiri Cathedral are within walking distance. 

Camere Maritima is also very close to the main City of Chania. In 700m you can visit the local landmark of the Municipal Market and at the same time be in the city center where you can go shopping and walk around the new town. In 750m is the extensive sandy beach of Nea Chora and in 500m is the central bus station where you can reach most parts of the county, both for your beach and mountain getaways. The airport is 11.5km away and the port of Souda is 6 km away for those traveling by sea.

Camere Maritima does not have its own parking area, as it is located in the heart of the old town of Chania. In this region, cars are not allowed to park and traffic is only allowed in the morning up to 9am for supply reasons. This allows you to calmly walk or do your daily workout in the old town. Within 5 minutes there is a private parking area and within a 10-minute walk, there is the free municipal parking (Talos Square).
